Johannes Rothrock born 1684 immigrated from Germany in 1736 with wife Anna Margaretha and seven children.

Johann Georg Rothrock born 1721, 5th child of Johannes, immigrated with his father in 1736.
He was a farmer in Bucks County Pa. He married Elizabeth Roemig and had 10 children.

Philip Rothrock , the 5th child of Johann Georg and Elizabeth born 1757/8 moved to Mifflin County
and ran a tannery and a sawmill. He married Martha Lobough and had nine children. He lived to be 93.

Abraham Rothrock born 1806 was Philip and Martha's 5th child He was a prominent physician
in Mifflin County, Pa.and established a practice in McVeytown.
He married Phobe Brinton Trimble of Delaware County, Pa.in 1837 and they had one son and two daughters.

Joseph Trimble Rothrock born April 9, 1839 was the only son of Abraham and Phoebe Rothrock.
As a child he was very sickly and nearly drowned in a stream. His health improved after joining a surveying party
of the Pennsylvaniza and Erie railroad where he worked outdoors.
He married Martha May in 1868 and they had 5 children.
